Tiny wooden sculptures -wooden acorns- are designed and created to be "Art piece to carry around".

Tiny tiny acorns are carved and finished by the artist's hand with arranged Japanese traditional wood lathe techniques and delicate carving techniques. The body and the cup of acorn are strongly connected with the tenon.  You can wear them either every day or on special occasions.

[ About customizing ]

It is possible to change the arrangement to different accessories.

The customizable accessories are Pendant, Brooch, Bracelet, NETSUKE, Bookmark, and Bracelet. Some of them would need an extra charge. Lapel Pin, Stud Earring and Pin Brooch need to produce new acorns, so they will be sold as made-to-order.

[ How to care ] 

Oil finished

-Wipe with a soft cloth lightly moistened with Walnut oil. (If not, vegetable oils such as rapeseed oil or olive oil will be fine.)

-Polish with oil will cause a change of color or texture.

Wax finished

-Wipe with a dried soft cloth for daily care.

-If it is wet with water, wipe off immediately and dry.

-If the surface gets too dried, Wipe with a soft cloth lightly moistened with Walnut oil. (If not, vegetable oils such as rapeseed oil or olive oil will be fine.)

-Polish with oil will cause a change of color or texture.

[ Notice ]

- We also have the openable type (the cup and the body of acorn are separable with wooden screw), such as the Aroma Diffuser or A little larger wooden acorn. This is the FIXED type (not openable). 

- Each one has individual differences in color, shape, and size. If you would like to choose one yourself, please contact us. We will show you a photo of our stock. If it is made-to-order, you cannot choose.
